ABOUT THE ARTIST
Charly Palmer was born in 1960 in Fayette, Alabama and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A successful graphic designer and illustrator with his own design studio and Fortune 500 clientele.
Of his work he says, ?What makes it unique is not what I?m saying, but how I?m saying it. A trademark of my art is the circles and hidden messages throughout the piece. What I have also discovered is that my work is most successful when I allow the experience to happen and not to control it?.
I had the pleasure of meeting this artist when I visited Atlanta he is indeed dedicated to his work and his faith and combines them both. There is no question that Charly?s passion is painting and his biggest challenge is having enough hours in the day to paint all that he has in his thoughts. Charly gives thanks to his creator and openly speakes about his faith in his exhibitions and motivational workshops.
Charly, recently changed his style to reflect a broad range of African American historical subjects including politics, slavery, sports and music. I hope that over a cause time he will include all the continents. We hope that this talented artist/speaker will visit London in 2007 so please let us know if you would like to be placed on the mailing list. Watch this space for original works by this artist.
