Canvas Transfers Canvas Transfer Information PLEASE NOTE! Any border/text around the print is discarded and it is \"Only The Image\" that is transferred to canvas and no other size whatsoever can be produced ***************************************************************************** How canvas transfer prints are produced Firstly, we purchase the paper print on your behalf. The original paper print is coated with a spray or brush with a special acrylic that seizes the ink from the surface. After drying, the resulting ink film is then carefully separated from the paper and embedded into high quality canvas. This gives the picture an image very near to the original painting with a lustrous oil sheen and rich canvas texture. Simplified With the newest technology, the original image is striped away from the original paper print, and the left over blank paper is discarded. After many different processes the separated image is gently heat pressed on to a top quality canvas. It is very labour intensive, as each of the canvas transfer print processes have to be completed by hand. Such attention to detail produces an end product which is a superb work of art.
